A stroll away from Nadadouro, the lagoon offers a safer swimming spot from the nearby Atlantic. There is also a sailing school to learn and enjoy some new watersport skills.
We are so fortunate that this is our nearest beach. Only a few minutes drive away from Nadadouro, Foz is where the lagoon meets the sea. Enjoy the natural beauty of this Blue Flag beach, with an ice cream or a beer; perfect for chilling.
This spa town offers all the shopping you need whilst away. It has a fabulous daily fruit and vegetable market. There is a wonderful park bordered by the famous Bordallo Pinheiro ceramic museum and Thermal Hospital.
Lately Nazaré has made the world headlines with its record breaking surf feats. Make your way up to Sítio via the funicular railway and look down onto this quaint seaside resort.
Óbidos fondly called the Vila das Rainhas, given that the Kings of Portugal gave this town to their Queens. This medieval, walled citadel is a popular tourist spot; enjoy wandering through its cobbled streets, try the Ginja liqueur in a chocolate cup or participate in its many festivals.
This is a very popular safe beach, with a long promenade lined with cafes, bars and shops. It's very easy to lose a day or two lounging around here. Relax, you deserve it!
